Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar
NIJŪ offers ‘Katei Ryori’ style cooking, meaning ‘home-cooked food’
‘NIJŪ’ meaning ’20’ in Japanese is situated on Berkeley Street, Mayfair, a Japanese dining destination complete with a bespoke sushi bar, grill, innovative dining spaces, a beautiful private dining room and bar, Nipperkin.
Informal yet decadent, NIJŪ serves an array of Japanese delicacies. The restaurant is ingredient led and prides itself on creating dishes using seasonal produce and culinary experimentation.
Culinary Director, Chef Endo Kazutoshi, a third-generation sushi master, has curated the culinary programme and menu incorporating his unmatched knowledge, skillset, and wealth of experience of Japanese cooking to two individual industry experts. Endo has appointed Head Chef Chris Golding, alongside David Bury as Head Sushi Chef, joining the team from Creative Restaurant Group’s Sumi.
‘At NIJŪ we will have unique Japanese dishes and I will be adding some new exciting signature recipes to the menu, Katei Ryori style.’
